I'm giving it 2 stars because I expected so much more when I picked it up. I know that others had said that Cueto manages to write a women's story without resorting to stereotypes, but to me that's exactly what he does. I couldn't relate to Veronica or Rebeca (who is portrayed with so much sadness that is impossible to feel the least bit sorry for her) and at the end I just wanted the book to be over.
